Job Summary
As the Service Business Manager for Building Automation in Cologne, you will lead and develop a regional technical service team comprising project managers, service technicians, and sales personnel. Your daily responsibilities involve ensuring the high-quality execution of maintenance and repair orders, managing resource planning across project teams, and overseeing the acquisition and management of service projects. You will act as a critical bridge between new construction projects and ongoing service operations, ensuring seamless transitions. A key part of this role is the economic steering of the service department, where you will manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs in close coordination with branch management. This position is ideal for a leader who combines technical expertise in HVAC and building automation with a hands-on mentality and strong customer orientation. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree or Master Technician/Technician qualification in Building Automation, MSR Technology, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in service, project management, or the operation of building technology systems
- Leadership experience in a technical environment, preferably leading service technicians, project managers, or sales teams
- Proven experience in managing HVAC and building automation systems
- Experience in economic management, including budget control and forecasting
