As the Head of Application Services at BADER, a global leader in premium automotive leather, you will report directly to the Vice President of IT. Your primary responsibility is the operational, organizational, and conceptual management of the Application Services department. You will lead a team both technically and disciplinarily, ensuring the stable operation and demand-oriented development of the application landscape in alignment with the broader IT strategy. Key tasks include managing support structures, service levels, budgets, and external service providers, while also steering IT projects and change initiatives. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in an IT environment, specifically within Application or IT Service Management
- Proven experience in the operational management of application landscapes and IT projects
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, resources, and external service providers
- Experience in disciplinary and technical team leadership
