Job Summary
As an R&D Support Engineer for Plastics, you will serve as a vital link between product development and production at our European headquarters in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Your daily responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with Process Engineers to enhance production reliability and performance. You will be responsible for evaluating and implementing alternative raw materials in coordination with the procurement department, as well as managing product specifications and technical data sheets. Beyond technical documentation, you will lead product development projects and provide essential technical support to the sales and marketing teams. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Science, Chemical Technology, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in the plastics industry, specifically within technical service or application development, is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading product development projects.
- Experience in creating and maintaining product specifications and technical data sheets.
- Experience working as an interface between production and product development departments.
