Job Summary
As an Automation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the modification, project planning, and software creation for machine control systems and industrial plants. Your day-to-day activities involve troubleshooting complex machinery, developing innovative solution concepts, and contributing to the creation of technical documentation and operating manuals. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and possesses a goal-oriented mindset. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with high-end Siemens technology stacks and includes a pathway to permanent employment after an initial placement through personnel leasing. You will play a critical role in ensuring that technical systems comply with recognized engineering standards and legal regulations while driving innovation within the automation department.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification; ideally supplemented by a completed apprenticeship in an electrical trade.
Experience
- Professional experience in programming complex machine control systems
- Experience in configuring drive technology and HMI/SCADA systems
- Proven track record in troubleshooting machines and industrial plants
- Experience with Siemens-specific programming standards and guidelines
- Ideally several years of professional experience following a completed apprenticeship in an electrical field

- Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of recognized technical rules, regulations, and laws within the field of automation. The position is initially offered via employee leasing with a permanent takeover option.
