Job Summary

As a Materials Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and safety of industrial components. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds and materials according to technical specifications. Specifically, you will conduct radiographic testing (RT) using film technology, which includes developing and interpreting images to identify potential defects. You will be responsible for documenting all test results in compliance with industry standards and ensuring that all quality requirements and norms are strictly followed. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys technical documentation and taking responsibility for the timely completion of testing programs. The position offers the stability of a permanent, full-time contract within a medium-sized company that values performance and reliability in the Thuringia region.

Required Skills

Education

Certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 2 in the industrial sector according to DIN EN ISO 9712:2022; current radiation protection training preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the field of non-destructive material and substance testing is preferred
  • Practical experience in radiographic testing (RT) using film technology, including development and interpretation of images
  • Experience in evaluating welds and materials according to technical specifications and standards
  • Experience in creating standard-compliant reports and documentation

Additional

  • Valid certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) Level 2 according to DIN EN ISO 9712:2022 is a mandatory prerequisite. Must be able to work full-time in a permanent position.
