Job Summary

As the Deputy Laboratory Manager at Zeelandia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of baking ingredients for an international market leader. Your daily responsibilities include conducting sensory and chemical-physical quality controls on raw materials and finished products, managing product releases and blocks within the SAP-LIMS system, and overseeing laboratory equipment maintenance. Beyond technical analysis, you will actively participate in quality assurance processes, such as handling complaints, tracking product traceability, and optimizing production sequences based on QA criteria. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or Biotechnical Assistant.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a laboratory technician within the food industry
  • Initial leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Experience in conducting analytical methods such as titration and viscosity determination
  • Practical experience working with LIMS systems, preferably SAP-based
  • Experience with international food safety certification standards
