Job Summary
As the Plant Manager for Stadtwerke Abensberg, you will lead a regional utility company with approximately 20 employees and a turnover of €5 million. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the strategic and economic management of water supply, wastewater disposal, and the operation of a public swimming pool, alongside organizing the historic 'Gillamoos' fair. A critical focus of this role is the implementation of the municipal heat planning approved by the city council and the expansion of the 'Naturstrom Abensberg' energy division. You will be expected to modernize the business, develop new business fields, and manage projects with a goal-oriented approach. This position is particularly attractive for leaders who value a secure public service contract (TVöD) while having the creative freedom to shape local energy transitions and infrastructure. The role offers a blend of traditional utility management and modern project development within a supportive team environment, featuring flexible working hours and home office options.
Required Skills
