As an IT Onsite Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for hardware and software issues at client locations. Your daily responsibilities include setting up and configuring workstations, managing Microsoft Teams telephony systems, and maintaining media technology. You will also take ownership of asset management and warehouse logistics for client hardware. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical disruptions directly at the user's desk. The position is offered through a specialized recruitment firm for a leading German IT service provider that manages over 600,000 workstations globally. It offers a stable, permanent contract with a 40-hour work week, attractive above-tariff compensation, and up to 30 days of vacation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), IT Systems Electronics Technician (IT Systemelektroniker), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware support and user assistance
  • Proven experience in the installation and configuration of standard IT hardware including desktops and notebooks
  • Practical experience in analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions onsite
  • Experience in managing IT assets and inventory
