Job Summary

This role offers a compelling opportunity to work at the forefront of space technology in Taufkirchen, Munich. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-precision quality inspections on complex engine, valve, and Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM) components. Your day-to-day activities involve operating advanced 3D coordinate measuring machines (CMM), as well as roughness and contour measurement tools, to ensure the highest standards of accuracy. You will play a critical role in identifying and documenting product deviations, evaluating conformity against design specifications, and collaborating closely with production and design teams to resolve technical issues. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, 30 days of vacation, lack of shift work, and the chance to contribute to sustainable and reusable space technologies within a modern, international high-tech environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training, ideally with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in quality management and quality assurance is mandatory
  • Practical experience in operating 2D and 3D coordinate measuring machines
  • Experience in identifying and documenting product and equipment deviations
  • Experience working within an aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environment
