Job Summary
As a Technical Product Support Specialist within the Service Division at KHS, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company's world-class standards in beverage and liquid food packaging technology. Based in Worms, your daily responsibilities will involve the technical preparation of retrofit offers, spare part inquiries, and order processing. You will act as a key technical consultant for customers, providing solutions for overhaul and conversion projects in close coordination with the design department. This role offers a unique blend of traditional mechanical support and forward-thinking innovation, as you will assist in obsolescence management, participate in a 24/7 technical hotline, and contribute to the programming and application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically-minded professional to work with high-end palletizing, packaging, and robotics technology within a globally recognized subsidiary of Salzgitter AG.
Required Skills
Education
Technical vocational training with further qualification as a Technician, or a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical product support or a related engineering field
- Experience in the technical preparation of retrofit offers and spare parts management
- Practical experience using SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in customer consulting for technical overhaul and conversion projects
- Knowledge of palletizing, packaging, and transport technology is highly desirable
- Initial experience or strong interest in RPA/Bots and AI applications
