As a Document Management System (DMS) Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between client requirements and technical implementation. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for translating software requirements into functional DMS solutions, overseeing their implementation, and providing direct on-site support to clients. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency and a strong service-oriented mindset to ensure high-quality delivery. You will work with server/client architectures and utilize scripting languages to customize systems. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, a completed IT-related vocational training, or equivalent professional experience in the IT field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT environment or project-based experience during IT training
- Initial experience in consulting and the introduction of DMS software is preferred
- Experience in data preparation using SQL query languages
- Experience with scripting languages such as Visual Basic or Java-like syntax
- Practical experience in project management is highly desirable
