As a Project Engineer at SPIE Life Science Engineering, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning of laboratories and hospital pharmacies within the life science sector. Your day-to-day activities will involve capturing and optimizing workflows, creating technical specifications for equipment, and developing layouts that comply with strict GMP regulations. You will play a vital role in coordinating between various trades such as architecture, cleanroom technology, and electrical engineering, ensuring projects move smoothly from initial design through to commissioning and final handover. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Biotechnology, Life Science Engineering, Chemical and Bio-Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Process Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience preferred
- Professional experience in laboratory planning or process engineering
- Experience in creating layouts and technical specifications
- Experience with GMP-regulated environments
