Job Summary
As the Branch Manager for the Bitterfeld-Wolfen location, you will hold full responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the branch. Your daily activities will involve overseeing a team of approximately 30 employees, driving business growth in the areas of civil engineering, earthworks, material flow management, and landfill construction. You will be instrumental in acquiring new projects, maintaining client relationships, and managing the entire lifecycle of contracts from bidding to controlling. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who combines technical expertise in construction with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. The position offers significant creative freedom and decision-making power within a growing company, supported by flat hierarchies and a performance-oriented culture. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental/Geotechnology, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional leadership experience in civil engineering, landfill construction, or material flow management
- Proven track record in business development and strategic branch growth
- Extensive experience in contract management and calculation specifically within the VOB framework
- Experience in managing and developing teams of approximately 30 employees
- Demonstrated success in customer acquisition and long-term relationship management
