Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will serve as the central point of contact for all specialist departments, providing expert advice on the application and procurement of testing equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and monitoring external calibration services, ensuring proper labeling of all measuring tools, and maintaining documentation within a centralized database. You will develop calibration standards based on current guidelines (VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618) and support both internal and external audits through regular inspections. This role is highly impactful as you will monitor release processes, manage blocked equipment, and derive optimization strategies from statistical reports.
