Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of 3D cable routing within vehicles. Your day-to-day activities involve designing electrical wiring paths and assembly installations while carefully considering installation space, fastening methods, and manufacturing requirements. You will utilize CATIA and HIM for modeling and documentation, ensuring high-quality technical outputs through collision and installation space checks. Collaboration is a key part of this role, as you will coordinate frequently with electrical, mechanical, and production departments to manage changes and maintain technical data and parts lists. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical education (HTL) or a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
Experience
- 2 years of relevant professional experience in electrical design or a related field
- Experience in 3D construction, specifically in electrical cable routing
- Proven experience working with CATIA software
- Experience in technical documentation and change management
- Professional experience in coordinating between electrical and mechanical departments
