Job Summary
This role involves conducting essential laboratory work and tests related to fish food, aquarium keeping, and bio-farm operations. The Biological Technical Assistant will be responsible for preparing microbiological procedures and evaluations for production control, meticulously documenting and analyzing results for finished feed and raw materials, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, safety, and environmental regulations. The position also includes supporting project work within Biological Quality Assurance and requires readiness for weekend and on-call duties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory environments, particularly with fish food and pathology, and be proficient in using lab software, SAP, and microscopes for detailed examinations. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a Biological Technical Assistant or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in a laboratory environment, ideally in fish food, fish keeping, and fish pathology
- Experience in handling aquarium fish is desirable
- Experience in using laboratory software and equipment, including SAP
- Experience in using microscopes and conducting microscopic examinations
- Strong organizational and data documentation skills, with a focus on complete records
