Job Summary

This role involves the professional and political coordination of occupational medical prevention and the prevention of occupational diseases within the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV). As a Health Protection Officer, you will support the department head in managing topics such as occupational health services and employability. Day-to-day responsibilities include representing the DGUV in various expert committees, initiating and overseeing the development of health concepts and quality assurance guidelines, and organizing professional events and publications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys networking and policy-related work within the healthcare or legal sectors. The role offers a meaningful contribution to workplace safety in Germany, providing a secure public service salary (BG-AT), flexible working hours with up to three days of mobile work per week, and a strong focus on work-life balance and professional development. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or Diploma) in Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Law, Rehabilitation Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Medicine, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in prevention or association/federation work is preferred
  • Experience in coordinating professional and political tasks within health or legal frameworks
  • Proven experience in organizing projects, specialist events, and lectures
  • Experience representing organizational interests in external committees and institutions
  • Understanding of political, economic, and legal contexts related to social insurance
