Job Summary
This role involves working within a dedicated laboratory team focused on the quality and safety of drinking and surface water. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of physical-chemical and microbiological examinations. Your tasks include sample preparation, performing water analyses according to DIN and ISO standards, and utilizing modern analytical methods such as photometry and titration. You will also manage the documentation of results in a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, and ensure strict adherence to hygiene and quality assurance standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA), Environmental Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in water analysis or environmental analysis is preferred
- Experience in applying modern analytical procedures such as photometry and titration
- Practical experience in sample preparation and laboratory documentation
- Proficiency in using IT systems, specifically LIMS software
- Proven ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner within a team environment
