Job Summary

As an IT Operations and Communications Expert, you will play a vital role in ensuring the digital future-readiness of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Working within the SSO OMG AO Coordination department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and monitoring of release processes for cross-functional applications. Your day-to-day activities will include creating detailed application update schedules, moderating stakeholder meetings, and managing maintenance windows. Beyond technical coordination, you will drive continuous service improvement (CSI), handle 2nd-level support, and develop training materials for users. This position is unique as it combines high-level IT process management with hands-on communication and training tasks within one of Germany's largest and most complex IT infrastructures. It offers the opportunity to contribute directly to national security by modernizing critical IT services and ensuring stable operations in a highly demanding environment.
