Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the Municipality of Niederwerrn offers a diverse range of responsibilities in local government finance. As a Finance Officer, you will manage municipal tax matters including trade, property, and dog taxes, while overseeing insurance claims and property-related financial transactions. Your day-to-day will involve asset accounting, contract management, and active participation in budget planning and the preparation of annual financial statements. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), Administrative Specialist (BL I), or a comparable commercial qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or a comparable commercial field
- Proven experience with municipal budgetary and cash law (KommHV-K)
- Experience in managing municipal tax assessments and collection
- Experience in asset accounting and financial statement preparation
- Experience using specialized administrative software such as Komuna
