Job Summary

This part-time position (50%) at the Sigmaringen District Office combines the critical responsibilities of a Data Protection Officer with internal auditing duties. Day-to-day, you will serve as the primary contact for colleagues and citizens regarding GDPR compliance, manage the record of processing activities, and handle data breach reports. Simultaneously, you will conduct risk-oriented audits across various departments to monitor budget and economic management within the district administration. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Management (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt or Bachelor of Arts - Public Management) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or public management
  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating complex factual and legal issues
  • Experience in data protection regulations and compliance is desirable
  • Experience in budgetary, cash, and accounting systems is desirable
  • Proven ability in professional written and oral communication
