Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive verification and testing of hardware circuits, electronic assemblies, and control units within a high-end engineering environment in Kiel. On a day-to-day basis, you will create verification specifications for functional, environmental, and EMC tests, and execute these tests in both internal and external laboratories. A significant portion of the role focuses on test automation, where you will specify and commission modular HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test environments using platforms like dSpace or National Instruments, develop test scripts, and create simulation models for sensors and actuators. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hardware development or verification and is well-versed in functional safety standards. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a certified Technician with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Proven experience with HIL-test hardware such as dSpace or National Instruments
  • Practical knowledge of environmental and EMC testing standards
  • Experience applying functional safety standards like IEC 61508 or ISO 26262
