This high-level leadership role involves the operational management of approximately five gravel plants, reporting directly to the Managing Director. As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the technical oversight and economic profitability of your assigned region. Your day-to-day activities will include leading and developing on-site plant managers, ensuring proactive occupational health and safety standards, and securing public-law permits for operational expansion. A significant portion of the role focuses on strategic project management, where you will oversee the entire lifecycle of raw material extraction sites—from initial exploration and technical planning to final approval and implementation. This position is ideal for an engineer with a business-oriented mindset who enjoys a mix of technical project work and personnel leadership. Required Skills

Education

Advanced technical degree (e.g., Raw Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent)

Experience

  • Proven experience in handling public-law permit procedures and regulatory approvals
  • Experience in project management from conceptualization to completion
  • Background in economic management and ensuring technical profitability
