Job Summary

As a Lead Developer, you will spearhead the design, development, and operation of high-performance Java-based backend services and APIs. This role is central to building stable, scalable, and future-proof systems that serve as the foundation for digital products. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and observability practices like OpenTelemetry. Day-to-day, you will manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and implement modern architectural patterns, including event-driven designs and asynchronous communication. A significant part of the role involves optimizing database queries and performance while making strategic cloud-native architectural decisions. Working within an agile team, you will mentor less experienced colleagues and foster a culture of knowledge sharing. This position is particularly attractive for those seeking a 'Cloud-native' environment where they can influence system resilience and long-term maintainability while enjoying flexible working conditions and a comprehensive benefits package.
