As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future for a leading IT service provider's client. Your daily responsibilities will involve the analysis, design, and development of Python scripts and Java software, alongside the transformation of complex data sources for various IT systems. You will act as a technical consultant for business departments, helping them develop data-driven applications and expanding the overall data infrastructure for analysis and reporting. A significant portion of the role focuses on creating ETL processes, developing data interfaces for analytics, and monitoring application performance. This position is particularly attractive due to its blend of technical development and stakeholder management, offering the chance to work with a modern tech stack including Kafka, MongoDB, and Docker. Required Skills

Education

Completed University Degree (Diploma/Master) in IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a Java Developer and Data Engineer using Python
  • Proven track record in the analysis and transformation of complex data sources
  • Experience in stakeholder management and collaborating with technical operations and development teams
  • Experience in moderating and consulting with Product Managers
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies
  • Experience with AI tools is considered an advantage
