Job Summary

This role involves the planning, procurement, and maintenance of test stands, equipment, and systems used for aircraft maintenance at Lufthansa Technik. You will take on project management responsibilities for developing new test procedures and acquiring equipment, ensuring all cost, deadline, and quality targets are met. A significant portion of the role focuses on analyzing manufacturing methods to optimize production processes and reduce operating costs. You will also be responsible for creating technical documentation, maintenance concepts, and training programs to ensure high system availability. This position is unique for its blend of high-level project leadership and hands-on technical engineering within the aerospace sector, offering the chance to build capabilities across various production areas and international sites. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Aircraft Systems Engineering, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Professional experience in equipment and plant planning, including the creation of technical specifications
  • Demonstrated experience in project implementation and project leadership
  • Experience in leading, guiding, and motivating project teams
  • Proven ability in structuring and planning complex workflows and analytical problem-solving
  • Experience in conducting economic efficiency studies and preparing decision templates
