Job Summary
As an Information Manager at the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony (KFN), you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the institute's internal digital infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities include the independent redesign and conceptualization of the intranet and supporting the implementation of a comprehensive Document Management System (DMS). You will also be responsible for processing and visualizing data from police crime statistics and research reports, while assisting with the internal library and database maintenance. This position is ideal for a structured professional who enjoys a mix of technical information management and administrative support. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management or a comparable qualification/training with equivalent skills.
Experience
- Professional experience in information management or a related administrative field
- Experience in the conceptual design and redesign of intranet systems
- Experience with the implementation or support of Document Management Systems
- Proven experience in researching scientific literature databases
- Experience in data processing and visual communication of statistical information
