Job Summary
This role involves performing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) on aerospace components for Leistritz Turbine Technology, a leading specialist in the engine industry. Based in Remscheid, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ultrasonic inspections, documenting results, and distinguishing between false indications and relevant defects. You will ensure all activities comply with strict aviation standards, specifications, and testing procedures while operating specialized technical equipment. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training; willingness to undergo further training/certification in the field of ultrasonic testing.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspector is desirable
- Experience in the manufacturing of engine disks regarding geometries and associated testing fixtures
- Experience in evaluating and distinguishing between pseudo-indications and relevant defects
- Proven ability to work in a shift-service environment
