Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the safe, legally compliant, and efficient operation of an on-site power plant and steam generation facilities for a global hygiene and health company. As the Team Lead, you will manage and schedule an experienced team operating in a continuous shift system. Your daily responsibilities include monitoring energy supply systems, electrical networks, and switchgear, with the opportunity to transition into the role of Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK). You will serve as the primary contact for authorities, auditors, and experts while managing budgets and investment planning for electrical infrastructure. This position is particularly attractive due to its hybrid work model, 38-hour work week, and comprehensive benefits package under the paper industry collective agreement. Required Skills

Education

Technical training with further qualification as a Power Plant Master (Kraftwerksmeister), Industrial Master, or Technician; or a university degree in Energy, Supply, Process, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation of energy or steam generation plants, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Previous leadership experience or a strong desire to develop into a management role
  • Experience in shift planning and managing teams in continuous shift operations
  • Practical experience with control systems and process data analysis
  • Experience or knowledge in emission control and operational safety regulations
