Job Summary
As a Senior IT Security Consultant, you will spearhead the development and expansion of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) in accordance with ISO 27001:2022. Your daily responsibilities include managing projects to verify technical and organizational security measures, planning and executing security awareness training, and serving as an external Information Security Officer (ISO) for clients. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical security and business needs by supporting the sales team during initial consultations and ensuring high-quality project delivery. This position is unique as it offers a clear path toward disciplinary and financial leadership responsibilities within a growing cybersecurity firm. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field. Certification as an IT-Grundschutz-Praktiker is an advantage.
Experience
- Professional experience in information security consulting or management consulting
- Proven track record in project management and leadership within security projects
- Experience in implementing or auditing security frameworks like ISO 27001
- Experience in conducting security training or awareness measures
- Experience in collaborating with sales teams for technical pre-sales support
