Job Summary
As an EHS Manager at Bavaria Schweißtechnik, now part of the global ESAB group, you will lead critical health, safety, and environmental initiatives at the Unterschleißheim site near Munich. Your daily responsibilities involve developing and maintaining management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents to implement preventive measures. You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, such as safety specialists and medical officers, while managing environmental permits and documentation. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a production environment and is passionate about fostering a 'safety-first' culture. Required Skills
Education
Technical training or a degree in Safety, Environmental, or Health Management.
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in the EHS field, preferably within production or metal processing environments
- Proven experience collaborating with German regulatory authorities
- Demonstrated experience with ISO 14001 and 45001 audits
- Professional experience in training and moderation
- Experience in managing environmental permits and EMS documentation

- Occasional travel required for supplier audits. Position is based in Unterschleißheim/Munich. Candidates must be comfortable with a work split of 80% office-based and 20% production-floor presence.
