Job Summary
The Leibniz Graduate School on Aging (LGSA) in Jena is offering PhD positions for researchers interested in the fundamental biological processes of aging. As a PhD candidate, you will engage in interdisciplinary research at the Fritz Lipmann Institute (FLI), utilizing molecular, cellular, and systems-level approaches. The role involves conducting practical laboratory work on specific research projects ranging from host-microbiome metabolism to the evolutionary origins of aging. You will participate in a structured training program including lecture series, seminars, and language classes, supported by a dedicated thesis committee.
