Job Summary

As an Electronics Hardware Developer at Brunel, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of electronic assemblies, from initial circuit design to prototype validation. Your daily activities will involve developing and laying out multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer, selecting electronic components, and performing low-level microcontroller programming in C/C++. You will play a critical role in ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and supporting product certifications. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with software development teams, production departments, and external partners. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in hardware development and PCB layout
  • Proven expertise in using Altium Designer for multi-layer boards
  • Experience in hardware-oriented microcontroller programming using C/C++
  • Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit technology
  • Experience in EMC, signal integrity, and power electronics is preferred
