Job Summary

In this pivotal role based in Kiel, you will take charge of the strategic and operational design of manufacturing processes, specifically within the electronic production (E-manufacturing) sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading technical projects for new equipment acquisitions—from initial requirements analysis and specification drafting to final commissioning. You will be tasked with identifying production bottlenecks, optimizing layout concepts for material flow efficiency, and designing ergonomic work systems. Acting as a vital link between production, purchasing, and infrastructure teams, you ensure all technical requirements for structural and plant expansions are met. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys combining technical project management with hands-on process optimization. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a comparable technical qualification with further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in manufacturing planning and industrial workflows, ideally within electrical engineering or E-manufacturing
  • Proven experience in managing technical projects from analysis to commissioning
  • Experience in facility layout planning using CAD tools
  • Practical experience applying optimization methods such as REFA or Lean Management
  • Experience in coordinating between cross-functional teams including procurement and infrastructure
