Job Summary
As an HSE Manager for a leading European manufacturer of roofing materials, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the safety and environmental standards across five production sites in Germany. Your daily responsibilities involve a blend of strategic development and hands-on operational support, including building and expanding the HSE management system, conducting risk assessments, and performing internal audits. You will act as a key advisor to plant managers and executive leadership, ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of office-based reporting and on-site engagement. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in a technical, scientific, or safety-related field (e.g., Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or general Engineering) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the chemical, automotive, metallurgical, or building materials industry
- Extensive experience in the development and expansion of HSE management systems
- Proven experience in conducting risk analyses and internal safety audits
- Experience in advising senior management and plant leadership on safety and environmental regulations

- Willingness to travel regularly to five production sites within Germany. Must be able to interact with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
