Job Summary

This role is focused on securing the long-term viability of radio location and detection products by managing component lifecycles. Based in Memmingen, you will be responsible for analyzing component discontinuations and change notices to assess their impact on existing hardware. Your day-to-day tasks involve developing strategies to ensure delivery and service capability through range analyses, as well as performing circuit redesigns, component selection, and the simulation and qualification of electronic circuits. You will act as a key coordinator between internal departments to optimize obsolescence management processes. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys a mix of technical circuit design and strategic planning. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development and circuit design
  • Experience in analyzing component discontinuations and their impact on product lifecycles
  • Practical experience in electronic circuit simulation and qualification
  • Experience in high-frequency (RF) technology is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in independent, structured project coordination and organizational management
