This role at the Institute for the Hospital Remuneration System (InEK GmbH) involves actively shaping the future of hospital financing in Germany. As a member of the Economics Team, the successful candidate will perform day-to-day tasks centered around the continuous development and implementation of cost calculations for hospital services. This includes checking and validating performance and cost data, communicating directly with data-providing hospitals, and supporting the evolution of the national remuneration system. The position is ideal for analytical professionals who can translate complex medical-economic facts into understandable formats. Working for a federally mandated institute, you will take on sovereign tasks within the German healthcare system. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Health Economics, Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience or academic background in health economics, economics, or business administration
- Experience in processing and communicating complex medical-economic information to diverse audiences
- Practical experience in structured, independent, and solution-oriented project work
- Initial insights into commercial hospital controlling is highly preferred
