Job Summary
As a Lead Ignition Developer, you will spearhead the development of advanced control solutions using the Ignition SCADA platform. Your daily responsibilities involve designing Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures to standardize industrial data flows and creating intuitive HMI/SCADA interfaces. You will work closely with automation engineers to integrate Ignition with PLC systems while building dynamic real-time dashboards. Beyond technical execution, you will lead the Ignition development team and implement modern DevOps practices including CI/CD and version control. This role is particularly attractive for professionals looking to combine technical depth in industrial automation with leadership responsibilities. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study. Ignition Core/Gold or DevOps certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Extensive professional experience with Ignition, HMI/SCADA systems, and PLC programming
- Proven experience in database management and the application of DevOps tools
- Leadership experience in managing technical teams
- Experience in building UNS architectures for industrial data standardization
