Job Summary
As an IT Specialist at AiF Projekt GmbH, you will play a critical role in managing the technological backbone of an organization that supports innovative research and development projects for the German government. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve the administration and expansion of modern server and IT infrastructures based on Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server 2016-2022, Active Directory, and Hyper-V. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing Oracle-based databases and applications using Oracle APEX and REST interfaces. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of system administration and database development. Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of IT systems, server, and network technology
- Long-term experience working with relational databases and SQL
- Practical experience with Microsoft Domain Controllers, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Experience in developing and maintaining database interfaces

- The position is initially limited to a two-year contract with the explicit goal of permanent employment. Candidates must be able to work 39 hours per week and are expected to work at the Berlin location with mobile work options available.
