Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Production Planning and Control in Sindelfingen, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing workflows for a global leader in high-end measurement solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the holistic strategic and operational planning of production, managing pre-series, and overseeing phase-in/phase-out processes. You will lead and develop the PPS team while coordinating closely with production, order processing, purchasing, and logistics departments. A key focus of the role is analyzing delivery reliability and implementing lean production methodologies to enhance efficiency. Required Skills

Education

Commercial training with further qualification as a Specialist (Fachwirt), Business Administrator (Betriebswirt), or Master Craftsman (Meister); or a completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing teams
  • Practical experience using SAP PP for production systems
  • Experience in coordinating with interfaces such as purchasing, logistics, and order processing
  • Proven track record in lean production and process improvement
