As the Director of the Road Traffic Authority for the Waldshut District, you will lead a department of approximately 40 employees across four specialized divisions and three locations. Your daily responsibilities involve overseeing driver licensing, vehicle registration, traffic management, and freight transport regulations. You will serve as a strategic leader, driving the digitalization of administrative services and making high-level decisions on fundamental legal and operational issues. The role is highly collaborative, requiring you to lead traffic inspections, chair the accident commission, and work closely with the Freiburg Police Headquarters on road safety initiatives. You will also play a critical role in evaluating infrastructure projects, noise action planning, and disaster management. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Public Administration (Higher or Senior Non-Technical Administrative Service) or a comparable field of study.

Experience
