Job Summary
As an Operations Engineer for Electrical Power at Stadtwerke Güstrow GmbH, you will play a vital role in ensuring the energy supply for the Güstrow region. Your daily responsibilities include managing applications for renewable energy (EEG) and cogeneration (KWK) plants, overseeing the market master data register, and performing technical approvals for new consumers and feeders, such as charging infrastructure. You will be responsible for medium and low-voltage network calculations using Siemens software, preparing switching documentation, and managing the planning and execution of construction projects within the power sector. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a 38-hour work week, 30 days of vacation, and a 13th-month salary. The role is open to both experienced professionals and motivated career starters or career changers, providing a structured onboarding process and extensive individual training opportunities in a stable, regional utility environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) or a certified Technician/Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister) in Electrical Engineering with equivalent engineering experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or power grid operations preferred
- Experience in managing technical applications for renewable energy plants (EEG/KWK)
- Experience in network calculation and technical documentation
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and documenting construction projects
- Willingness to participate in on-call standby duty
