Job Summary

This role involves the technical commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of thermal exhaust air purification systems. As a technician, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting control cabinets, performing plant wiring, and conducting detailed troubleshooting to resolve technical malfunctions. The position requires a hands-on approach to building and wiring smaller control cabinets, ensuring all systems operate efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys technical service and is willing to travel extensively. The position offers a permanent contract through a personnel service provider with a strong potential for permanent takeover by the client company, a specialized plant engineering firm in the Hildesheim area. You will benefit from professional support throughout the application and employment process while working on critical environmental technology projects across Germany and internationally.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy Systems (Energieelektroniker) or Mechatronics Technician (Mechatroniker).

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning and maintenance of industrial plants
  • Practical experience in testing and inspecting control cabinets
  • Proven expertise in PLC systems, specifically Simatic S7-1500 and TIA Portal
  • Experience in technical fault analysis and troubleshooting
  • Background in the construction and wiring of electrical components

  • Valid driver's license (Class B) required. High willingness to travel within Germany and the EU, with occasional worldwide travel. This is a temporary-to-permanent placement (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung).
