As a Civil Engineer or Construction Manager at the HUBERT SCHMID Group, you will play a central role in shaping civil engineering and specialized foundation engineering projects. Your daily responsibilities include the planning and organization of construction execution, overseeing deadlines, costs, and quality standards, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure smooth operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and building owners while leading your on-site team with efficiency and appreciation. Beyond site management, you will handle quantity surveying, measurements, and billing, and support the acquisition of new projects through the bidding process. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, certified Construction Technician (Bautechniker), Master Craftsman in Metal Construction (Metallbaumeister), or a comparable qualification such as Master Craftsman in Construction (Meister im Bauhandwerk) or Foreman (Polier).
Experience
- Professional experience in construction management is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in civil engineering or specialized foundation engineering projects.
- Leadership experience in managing construction teams and subcontractors.
