Job Summary
The Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis district administration is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join its Central Tasks and Finance Department. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be instrumental in managing the financial health of the administration. Key responsibilities include implementing and overseeing a controlling system, managing investment loans, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with budget regulations. A significant part of the role involves establishing and monitoring a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS) and handling various tax-related legal issues, including tax declarations. Required Skills
Education
Completed relevant university degree (e.g., Diploma in Finance, Administrative Business Administration) OR Qualification for access to the 3rd entry-level position of the administration and finance career path OR Successfully passed second employee examination (Administrative Specialist) OR Equivalent university degree or comparable qualifications/skills, especially in accounting and financial/balance sheet accounting.

- Professional experience in finance and accounting
- Ideally, experience combined with knowledge of municipal law
