Job Summary
As a Systems / Project Engineer based in Kiel, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the interfaces between complex systems and assemblies to ensure optimal integration into overall system architectures. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing, structuring, and tracking technical requirements while deriving critical system functions. You will be responsible for managing quality, costs, and deadlines within your assigned sub-projects, which includes preparing technical decisions and maintaining comprehensive system specifications and architectural models. A significant portion of the role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary departments such as purchasing, manufacturing, and testing, as well as managing external development packages. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of project ownership, flat hierarchies, and a flexible hybrid working model. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in systems engineering or leading complex technical development projects
- Proven expertise in requirements management and interface coordination
- Experience in creating and verifying technical specifications and documentation
- Practical experience using PDM/PLM systems, ideally Teamcenter
- Experience managing external development packages and working with interdisciplinary teams
