Job Summary
This full-time role is based in Hanau with an innovative precious metal recycling company. You will be responsible for the independent execution of chemical digestion on precious metal recycling materials, preparing samples, and creating measurement and buffer solutions for ICP-OES analysis. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring testing equipment for quality assurance, managing laboratory supplies, and maintaining LEAN and 5S standards. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys process improvement and working with concentrated acids in a structured industrial environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or in a comparable laboratory role
- Experience in the analytical industrial environment, preferably with precious metals
- Practical experience in sample preparation and handling laboratory equipment
- Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
