Job Summary
This role involves leading the newly established M365 Competence Center for the regional church office in Kiel, overseeing a project with over 20,000 users. As the Head of the department, you will manage a team of three and take full responsibility for the strategic rollout and operational management of Microsoft 365 as the central collaboration platform. Your day-to-day duties include project management (budget, resources, and scheduling), defining implementation standards, and establishing a high-level 2nd and 3rd level support structure. You will act as a key advisor to church districts and IT committees while managing external service providers. This position is ideal for an experienced IT leader who enjoys combining technical administration with personnel development and strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in business process and project management
- Extensive experience and advanced knowledge in Microsoft 365 administration
- Proven experience in personnel management and leadership
- Experience in leading project teams and conducting workshops is preferred
- Experience in managing external service providers and support structures
