Job Summary
As a Deputy Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational excellence of a high-profile hotel and event location. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve leading a technical team, overseeing repairs and maintenance throughout the facility, and ensuring all building systems—including sprinkler systems, building management systems (GLT), and public address systems—are functioning perfectly. You will be hands-on, addressing technical defects in guest rooms and public areas while also managing administrative tasks such as maintenance logs and office organization. A unique aspect of this role includes supporting event setups, such as stage construction and conference room preparation. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical troubleshooting and leadership. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Technician or in a technical trade (e.g., Electrician, HVAC, or similar).
Experience
- Professional experience in a technical trade or facility management
- Experience in leading and managing teams
- Proven expertise in electronics and general technical troubleshooting
- Experience in maintaining large-scale building systems and machinery
- Practical experience in event setup and stage construction is beneficial
