Job Summary
As the Data Intelligence Team Lead for the e-conversion Excellence Cluster, you will spearhead the establishment and coordination of a central data exchange platform for a prestigious research network. Your primary responsibility is to integrate diverse data management solutions from various research groups into a unified infrastructure that supports Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and automation. You will define cluster-wide strategies for research data management, ensuring compliance with FAIR principles and DFG standards. This role involves significant interdisciplinary collaboration, requiring you to consult with scientists and network with national and international partners to promote digital transformation in scientific research. This position is particularly attractive for those looking to combine technical expertise in data infrastructure with leadership in a high-level academic environment, offering a long-term perspective until 2032 at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, or Materials Science; a PhD/Doctorate is highly preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience as a team or group leader in an industrial or academic environment
- Extensive experience in planning and coordinating complex projects
- Proven experience in professional scientific data management
- Practical experience with data infrastructures (software or hardware)
- Experience in interdisciplinary cooperation and networking with national/international partners
